He made a call to the artisan and together they traveled to his village, where three weavers were waiting for us under a mango tree!\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eMango club was born and it now has about 150 artisan members, with a chairman, secretary and treasurer. Following high-profile collaborations with internationally-known designers, such as Ineke Hans, Rentaro Nishimura and Donna Wilson their products are sought-after worldwide. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eAbout the Art of Basketry: \u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe art of basketry -which technique is used for these Suns- was born out of the need to contain or carry everything from water to mice and around the world different forms and techniques of basket making evolved, depending on the materials available.
