The Rattan Wall Lampshade 40 cm combines natural texture with a beautifully sculptural shape. Its curved silhouette and open rattan weave give it a light, organic feel – a lovely way to add warmth and a relaxed bohemian touch to a bedroom, living room or cosy corner.

Each lampshade is handmade in Bali by skilled artisans, who carefully shape and weave the rattan by hand. Rattan is a fast-growing, renewable natural material that is strong, flexible and lightweight. The natural fibres give the lampshade its beautiful texture and make every piece slightly different. Small variations in colour, shape and weave are part of the handmade character and mean that no two are exactly alike.

The 40 cm version is a little more compact than our larger 60 cm lampshade, making it perfect for smaller spaces or anywhere you would like to add a subtle statement. Mount it on the wall beside the bed, above a small cabinet or in a cosy reading corner. The versatile design can also be used as a pendant lampshade, where its organic shape looks beautiful above a table or beside the bed.

Once illuminated, the open rattan weave gently filters the light and creates soft patterns of light and shadow on the surrounding wall. Even when the light is switched off, its sculptural shape and natural texture make it a beautiful decorative piece.
