Georges' iconic light in its original format. An unexpected combination of brass, rattan and fabric in an airy, floral suspension with 8 petals and 80 cm wide. Inspired by the retro ceiling fans of louvered bedrooms, the original pall plays subtly with light, diffusing soft light into the room and playing with delicate shadows on the ceiling.
Good to know: Rattan is a living material; the petals will naturally form a corolla over time (count on a fall of about 25cm).
The original Pale suspension is made in the castle of Méritein, Georges manufacture in Béarn (South West of France). Each petal is entirely handmade from a rattan rod on which a cotton butter cloth is stretched and hand painted with a mixture of natural pigments. All the elements of the Pale suspension are sourced in France.
This pendant lamp includes a gold-coloured brass suspension rod of 30 or 70 cm and golden metal rosace to be fixed to the ceiling (3cm high and 12cm wide).
The E27 bulb is not included.
