In India, wooden moulds were employed to produce hand-moulded bricks. The process involved placing clay into the mould, pressing and shaking it, and then removing the brick to allow it to dry in the sunlight. Afterward, the mould was prepared for the next brick. Each brick mould possessed distinct characteristics, including the type of wood used, its age, and its appearance.
This particular mould makes three small bricks at the same time.
All brick moulds are unique in wood type, age and appearance. Unique and authentic for sure! We also sell single brick moulds, with or without stands, as well as double brick moulds.
