This Madam Stoltz Velvet Bolster Cushion is a beautifully soft addition to your sofa, bed or favourite armchair. Made from rich dark brown cotton velvet, this cylindrical cushion brings warmth, texture and a subtle sense of luxury to your interior. Its deep chocolate-brown shade is wonderfully easy to combine with earthy colours, natural materials and patterned cushions.

The bolster shape makes this cushion a little different from the classic square cushion. Measuring 20 x 50 cm, it looks beautiful placed in front of larger cushions on a sofa or bed, where its long, rounded shape adds depth to your arrangement. It is also lovely on its own in an armchair or used as a comfortable support cushion.

The cover is made from cotton velvet, a wonderfully tactile fabric with a soft pile that catches the light differently depending on the direction of the fibres. This gives the dark brown colour extra depth and creates that characteristic, slightly luxurious velvet look. At the same time, the warm brown tone keeps the cushion relaxed and natural – perfect for interiors filled with wood, rattan, linen, wool and other natural textures.

Handcrafted in India for Danish interior brand Madam Stoltz, the cushion carries the small variations and character that belong to handmade textile products. It comes complete with a polyester filling, so it is ready to find its place on your sofa or bed as soon as it arrives.
