Cimmi Throw – Recycled Cotton Spiral Throw 130 x 160 cm

The Cimmi Throw by Bloomingville is one of those pieces that completely changes character once you unfold it. At first glance, you see a warm woven throw in deep burgundy red and natural beige, finished with contrasting blue tassels. Spread it out, however, and its real beauty appears: a bold spiral pattern flows from the centre across the entire throw, creating a playful, almost retro graphic effect.

The combination of deep wine red and warm beige gives the Cimmi a cosy, earthy feel, while the unexpected blue tassels in each corner add a quirky touch. The spiral design makes this throw much more than something to keep you warm – draped over the back of a sofa, folded over an armchair or spread across the end of a bed, it becomes a real decorative feature.

Cimmi is jacquard woven, which means the striking spiral pattern is woven into the fabric rather than simply printed onto the surface. The yarns are dyed before weaving, adding to the rich, textile character of the design. Its main material is recycled cotton, giving existing cotton fibres a new purpose and reducing the need for newly produced cotton. 

Measuring 130 x 160 cm, it is a lovely size for cosy evenings on the sofa, but we especially love Cimmi as an interior piece. The dramatic spiral works beautifully with natural wood, vintage furniture and warm earthy colours, while the little flashes of blue give the design a fresh and unexpected finish.

The throw can be machine washed at 30°C and tumble dried on a low setting.
