Every Paper Lantern Star Snow is ethically handmade in India by skilled artisans. Making one requires patience and a remarkable amount of precision. The paper is silk-screen printed before being folded and shaped entirely by hand, gradually transforming a flat sheet of paper into this wonderfully detailed three-dimensional star. Look closely and you will see the tiny variations that come with genuine craftsmanship – each star has passed through the hands of the person who made it.

Even without the light switched on, Snow is a beautiful piece of paper art. Its sculptural shape makes it lovely to hang in front of a window, in the hallway, above a side table or in a cosy corner of the living room. At 44 x 44 x 17 cm, it is large enough to catch the eye while still being easy to find a special spot for.

Snow comes in three soft, easy-to-style colours: White, Dusty Pink and Taupe. White has that wonderfully crisp, wintry look, Dusty Pink adds a muted touch of colour, while Taupe feels warm, earthy and beautifully understated. All three shades combine effortlessly with natural materials such as wood and linen, handmade ceramics, vintage pieces and other paper decorations.

The Paper Lantern Star Snow 44 cm comes with a 3-metre electric cable suitable for an E14 bulb, giving you plenty of freedom when choosing where to hang it. The light bulb itself is not included.

Your star arrives carefully folded inside its box. Gently place your hand inside each point and spread your fingers to open the paper and reveal its full shape. When you want to put Snow away, simply fold it flat again and keep it safely in its box until the darker days return.
