Each KuSan hat is handmade in Nepal from 100% New Zealand sheep’s wool. Wool is a beautiful natural and renewable fibre, loved for its warmth, durability and naturally insulating qualities. The floppy shape gives the hat a relaxed look, while the little button detail adds that characteristic KuSan touch.

Inside, the beret is fully lined with wonderfully soft fleece made from 100% recycled polyester, produced from waste plastic bottles. This extra layer makes the hat beautifully warm and comfortable against your skin and, importantly, keeps the wool from feeling itchy.

There is also a good story behind every KuSan hat. Designed in London, the hats are handmade in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal, where KuSan has worked with the same family-owned factory since the brand began in 2000. The factory is a member of Fair Trade Group Nepal and is audited annually by Sedex. The skilled knitters receive fair wages and work in safe and healthy conditions, while KuSan places orders throughout the year to help provide a more regular source of income.
