What does Mayala do with my personal information?
What payments do you accept? You can pay using iDEAL, Creditcard/Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay or Bancontact. We will send you an order confirmation by e-mail once your payment has come through.
Where does Mayala deliver? We deliver orders to most countries in Europe and to the U.K.. You will find an overview of the countries, shipping costs and delivery times in the Delivery & Returns section.How long does it take for my order to be delivered? Your order will be send maximum 1-3 working days after your payment. If you really can’t wait, please contact us via phone (+31681992120) and we can see if we can help you out. The terms of delivery vary from 1 till 5 working days within Europe, depending on where you are located. When you place an order you always receive a Track & Trace code so you can easily track your order.
Different delivery times may apply around extra busy periods.
Will I receive the same piece as shown in the pictures? Mayala proudly sells unique items made of natural materials. Therefore, no two products are the exact same. We try to show you pictures of all the individual pieces, or several pictures of the article to give you an idea of the possible differences. We hope you appreciate the uniqueness of the pieces!Are all products sustainable?
Yes! At Mayala we aim to offer you a range of fair trade, sustainable, traditional, organic, handmade, recycled and eco-friendly products that often support the artisan and community through cooperatives. As much as we would like each and every product to meet all of these criteria, we would also like to offer you the most remarkable pieces which might not live up to all of these standards. In the description of each item is mentioned which of the mentioned criteria the product meets. You can then decide for yourself which criteria you find important or essential in a product. We can guarantee that all products are in some way sustainable though!
Can I pick-up my order in Haarlem? In some cases you can choose to pick up an order (free of charge) in Haarlem. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or phone +31 681992120 before placing the order to discuss the possibilities.Do you give a warranty on my purchase?
The legal warranty applies to all products in our webshop. This legal guarantee means that products should be or function the way you as a consumer might reasonably expect.What can I do when I receive the wrong article or my goods are damaged?We pack our parcels carefully and send them to the customer with insured postal services. In the unfortunate event a product gets damaged during transport, or you receive the wrong article, please send us an e-mail at email@example.com within 24 hours after receiving the parcel. In case of damage, please include images of the outside of the box including labels, inside of the box including packaging and images of the damaged piece.
We will send you a postage label so you can return the parcel free of charge. Please return the item in its original packaging and without having used it. We will replace the incorrect or damaged item, or if you prefer, we will proceed with a refund.Can I cancel my order or return the products?
When purchasing products, you have the option to cancel the purchase and send it back to us within 14 days. The items must be shipped to us in its original packaging and be undamaged. Sending the item back to us is at your own expense. Within 14 days after receiving the returned items we will refund you the purchase price of the products, excluding original shipping charges.

If the product hasn’t been sent yet, you can still cancel the order and we will proceed to refund you the full amount within 14 days.
Will an article that is sold out be available again? Depends! However, for every item that is out of stock, you can enter your e-mail address to be kept informed. Feel free to contact us directly to find out when and if your favourite item will be back in stock.
Can you send my order as a gift? Yes we can! We happily gift-wrap your purchase and/or include a personal message in the package. Just add ‘gift wrapping please’ to the notes section at check-out, as well as your personal message, and we’ll see to it! If you would like the gift to arrive on/by a specific date, don’t forget to mention this as well.
