The story behind KuSan began with a love for Nepal. Founders Kurt and Sandra fell for the country, its people, culture and beautiful knitted textiles while travelling through Asia. What started with bringing a few woolly hats home eventually grew into KuSan. More than 25 years later, their hats are still designed in London and hand-knitted in the hills of the Kathmandu Valley. KuSan continues to work with the same factory and knitters, keeping traditional craftsmanship at the heart of every collection.

The outside is made from 100% New Zealand sheep’s wool, a natural fibre loved for its warmth, durability and insulating qualities. Inside, the hat is fully lined with wonderfully soft fleece made from 100% recycled polyester, produced from waste plastic bottles. The soft fleece feels comfortable against your skin, adds an extra layer of warmth on cold winter days and keeps the wool from feeling itchy.
